If You're a Monster and you Know it

The goal for this project was to reimagine an existing children’s book in a way that completely differs from the original design. After doing some research on the original book, I came to the conclusion that maybe the original design was a bit dark and frightening for younger kids. My goal was to make my design more light-hearted and warm. I chose a color palette with muted colors to achieve this goal and a typeface I chose feels child like – almost like chalk on a chalkboard.
